Policies
At Carolina Gymnastics Academy, our policies help create a smooth, safe, and structured experience for every child and family. Please take a moment to review the guidelines below before registering.
Enrollment
You may start at any time during our two sessions:
School Year Session (Labor Day – Memorial Day)
Summer Session (June – August)
Once registered, your child is enrolled for the entire session unless you notify us in writing that you are dropping.
How to Enroll
All enrollment is done online.
Visit the program corresponding to your child’s age or grade level and click Register. Follow the prompts to complete the registration.
Each family is charged a non-refundable $50 Annual Registration Fee upon signing up for the School Year Session.
There is no registration fee for the Summer Session.
Families must register separately for the School Year and Summer Sessions.
Class Placement
From Preschool Gymnastics through Level 5/6, gymnasts are grouped strictly by date of birth.
For Tween & Teen and Tumbling classes, gymnasts are grouped by ability. These groups may shift during the year if children are promoted or move to a different day.
We cannot accommodate friend or sibling requests outside of these groupings.
Dress Code
Girls must wear a CGA leotard, which is available for purchase in our Pro Shop.
Boys should wear shorts or sweatpants and a T-shirt.
All children participate barefoot for safety. No socks are allowed.
Hair must be pulled back and secured out of the face.
Tuition & Payment
Your tuition reserves your child’s space in class and is charged immediately upon registration.
Class tuition is charged on the last day of the month for the upcoming month using our auto-pay system.
After School Care and Gym & Learn Preschool are billed weekly on Fridays for the upcoming week.. Summer Camp tuition is charged on the Monday before your scheduled week of camp.
A valid credit or debit card must be stored in your customer account to remain enrolled. You may also pay by cash, check, or card before the draft date. If no payment is made and your stored payment method is declined, your child will be dropped from the program after 10 days, and the spot will be released. To re-enroll, all past due balances must be paid in full.
To withdraw from a program before the session ends, notify us in writing before tuition is charged for the upcoming month. Once the month has been charged, no credits or refunds are issued unless a doctor’s note is provided for a verified medical condition. In that case, a prorated refund or credit may be applied based on the date we receive the documentation.
Missed Classes
Due to the full capacity in all programs, we are unable to offer makeup classes. This helps us maintain appropriate student-teacher ratios and high-quality instruction.
If your class falls during a CGA-scheduled break (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or Spring Break), tuition will be prorated if fewer than four classes are held in that month. We do not charge extra for months that have five classes.
Weather-Related Closures
In the event of hazardous weather, CGA may close for safety reasons. If local schools close, we may do the same. No refunds or credits are issued for weather-related closings.
Dropping a Class
If your child needs to drop a class before the session ends, go to the Contact Us page on the website and submit your drop request. This must be done before tuition is processed for the upcoming month. Once tuition is charged, you are committed for the full month.
Your Annual Registration Fee covers the full School Year Session. If you return during the same session, you will not need to pay the fee again.
