Our Story

Where Kids Come First—And Learning Is Important

Carolina Gymnastics Academy was founded with a clear purpose: to provide kids with a place where they feel confident, motivated, and excited to grow.

From toddlers to teens, every child who walks through our doors matters. Whether they’re learning a forward roll or refining advanced skills, we help them feel both successful and challenged. Our programs meet children at every stage of development – with the right mix of structure, encouragement, and fun.

We offer more than just gymnastics classes. CGA is also home to an engaging after-school program, dynamic summer camps, and our one-of-a-kind Gym & Learn Preschool. Each program is designed to support both physical and personal growth.

Our coaches bring real-world teaching and competitive experience to the mat. Every instructor trains directly with the owners and follows the philosophy that has shaped CGA from the beginning. We follow structured lesson plans and conduct regular skill evaluations, so each child has the opportunity to make steady, meaningful progress.

Coach Becky shares,
“It’s different when you have kids of your own. We know how much parents want for their children, and we can understand when they have a concern about their child’s progress or behavior.”

Coach Michele adds,
“We try to put it in perspective for the parent and also consider what’s best for the child and what’s developmentally appropriate. We love kids, and we love gymnastics—so when we can spend our days teaching a new generation to love gymnastics, we consider ourselves lucky people.”

What Makes CGA Special

  • Kids come first. We treat every child with the same care and encouragement we would give our own.
  • Learning is important. We help children develop new skills at a pace that builds their confidence and
    independence.
  • Structure supports growth. Our lesson plans help keep classes focused, productive, and fun.
  • Community drives everything. We’re a place where families feel welcomed, kids feel safe, and learning
    feels exciting.

From the first day of class to the moment a child nails a new skill, we are here to support their journey with positivity, patience, and pride. Thank you for making Carolina Gymnastics Academy part of your story.
