Gym & Learn Preschool Program: Where Active Play Meets Learning
Parents like you want your preschooler to succeed. Our unique Gym & Learn program helps children aged 3-5 build confidence, coordination, and foundational academic skills in a nurturing and fun-filled environment. Our students enter Kindergarten confident and prepared!
Kids Thrive at Carolina Gymnastics Academy Gym & Learn
- Active Learning: Gymnastics enhances motor skills, strength, and balance.
- Academic Foundations: Structured lessons introduce letters, numbers, shapes, and colors.
- Social Development: Interactive activities promote teamwork, listening skills, and friendship building.
Typical Daily Schedule:
- 9:00-9:15: Arrive – Arts & Crafts or Table Work
- 9:15: Outside Recess
- 10:00: Snack Time
- 10:15: Circle Time (Calendar, Weather, Songs, Active Learning, Phonics, Math, Science, Writing)
- 11:00: Gymnastics Class (Every Day!)
- 12:00: Lunch Time/Story Time
- 12:30: Outdoor Recess
- 12:45-1:00: Convenient Drive-Thru Pick Up at the Gazebo
Extended Care (1 pm-6 pm) Available for an Additional Fee
(Tuition is weekly, paid in advance. Gym & Learn tuition is $165 per week, regardless of attendance. We do prorate tuition when the gym is closed!)
Gym & Learn 2026-2027 starts September 8th.

Zoey Zapple– Preschool Director & Lead Teacher
Zoey holds a B.S.W. in Social Work with a concentration in Early Childhood Education and brings over 18 years of experience teaching Kindergym and Gym & Learn programs. As a mother to a teenager and a young child herself, Zoey understands firsthand the importance of nurturing care and clear communication.
Miss Jackie – Preschool Assistant Teacher
Miss Jackie supports our Gym & Learn classroom with warmth and enthusiasm. As a mother of three school-age children, she brings an attentive perspective and genuine care to each child’s daily experience.
Miss Jessica – Preschool Assistant & Substitute Teacher
Miss Jessica is dedicated to making every Wednesday special for our preschoolers. She balances her role here with her full-time career as a social worker and her commitment as a parent and foster parent. Jessica’s compassion and dedication enrich our Gym & Learn program.
